Misch Mathes
Founder & Chief Investment Officer
Misch is the portfolio manager for the Léiw Asia Opportunities Fund and founder of Léiw Capital Management. Misch founded Léiw in 2025 following his departure from Oaktree Capital, where he was an investment professional in the Global Opportunities Group between 2019 and 2025. Prior to Oaktree, Misch was part of the inaugural portfolio management team at Arkkan Capital, a Hong Kong based alternative asset manager focused on Asia Pacific markets. Misch holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London, and is an INSEAD alumni.

David Yu
Chief Operating Officer
David joined Léiw Capital Management in 2026 as Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in his career he was a member of J.P. Morgan's Global Special Opportunities Group in Hong Kong, investing in distressed debt and private credit, and later helped establish Bain Capital Credit Asia, executing complex transactions across loan portfolios and public-company recapitalisations. More recently he led cross-border business-building and regulatory initiatives as GM International at PayActiv and as founder of Divit, a real-time payments platform. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance with Distinction from the University of New South Wales and is a Chartered Accountant.
